The BravoBoats RIB
We designed and created the new BravovBoats first generation rib – coach and support boat – with no compromises. Multifunctional possibilities, perfect performance, planing and
shape, the reliable engine, the ergonomic interior design were all essential for us, as well as creating long-term and satisfactory customer relations. As a part of our concept, we also offer servicing, winter storage and transportation.
We are building, selling and servicing boats. Even from the very beginning, our intention was to build something new, something unique; we do believe that the Bravo Boats new generation boats are the best choice to make. We spent decades on Lake Balaton and other European lakes in boats, we tried several boats in different and many times radical conditions. In the meantime, we were gathering the experiences, and these shaped the idea of a boat that incorporates all our good experiences.
As a first step, we mapped the domestic and international market and approached coaches in order to collect their experiences, ideas and expectations about an ideal coach boat. We analysed the available boats functionally and structurally and we identified the very best materials and suppliers available. Mapping of the demand and negotiations, we identified the main features a RIB like this must possess and completed the basic concept with several small innovations of ours which conform perfectly to the customer demands. We emphasize the streamlined hull, which is not only wave resistant but helps to save fuel and has a big fuel tank capacity.
We created a boat that empties the water from the deck even at a standing position, its fittings are simple, where cables are hidden, and has totally waterproof boxes installed. We added convenience and design elements, as well, such as 3 cigar lighters, sunshades and plastic parts with various colour options. The best part is that we managed to create a boat that is positioned above the competition’s boats in terms of quality, design and service, but price wise its below them.
We have 2 types of boats at the moment: Bravo 6.0 Coach Boat, a coach and workboat which is mass production and the custom-built GT Bravo, which is a leisure sports boat, with a stronger engine and several extras.
The design of the Bravo 6.0, the dispensing of the centre of gravity and the chosen motorisation all allow the coach boat to have unique performance. It’s turn circle is minimal with maximum speed without the hull sliding or the propeller cavitating. Besides these performances, the one with the 60 HP engine consumes 3,3 litres of fuel per hour, while the 70 HP consumes 5 litres. These data are based on our own tests. Driving this boat with the 60 HP engine is real fun, with the more powerful 70 and 90HP engines it's a great treat.t!
The idea of the Bravo GT occurred to us because we enjoyed driving the 6.0 so much, we started thinking how we could enhance that. Our primary goal was to meet hobby and leisure needs: water ski, wakeboard, water excursion, sunbathing, bathing or a family vacation with a 6-meter RIB boat. This is how the idea came about designing and building this new version Bravo boat which has similar details with its 90 HP. As the first step, we needed a more loadable hull bottom, so that this boat has similar characteristics as the coach boat but its more loadable. A new bow was necessary for the extra comfort and a built-in a tower for the new tasks. This is how we created the GT Bravo – the Grand Tourismo.
